La Tondena's history of leadership, quality and excellence goes back to 1902. When the company acquired Destilerias Ayala Inc. in 1924, it took into it's fold Ginebra San Miguel, later adding the Añejo rum line. It was in 1987 when La Tondeña entered into a strategic alliance with San Miguel Corporation, the Philippines' biggest food and beverage conglomerate. The company came to be officially called La Tondeña Distillers, Incorporated.

La Tondena Manila Rum Gold possesses the classic full-bodied taste blend preferred by rum lovers throughout the world. This 80 proof, light-bodied rum, was made from carefully selected rum alcohol and ingredients, specially aged in oak barrels.

La Tondena Manila Rum Silver is an 80 proof, very-light crystal-clear rum from selected cane molasses alcohol aged in oak barrels. A special second distilling process gives this liquor its clarity.

Tondena Manila Rum Dark, an 80 proof, full-flavored, medium-bodied rum with a dark amber color from selected and oak-aged cane molasses spirits. Specially aged in oak barrels.

Anejo Rum 65 is La Tondeña's answer to the market's demand for lower proof rums and spirits. It is a 65 proof rum, pale amber in color, commonly used as a base for mixed drinks. Specially processed cane alcohol was used for smoother more aromatic liquor.
