• What is the shelf life of the products?
  
  Shelf life/expiration dates of the products vary from 12 to 24 months, depending on the type of products. Expiration date is always counted from the manufacturer’s production date. All food products have expiration dates or shelf life declarations. This is required by the Philippine Bureau of Food and Drugs (BFAD).
  
  
• What is the lead time from confirmed order of goods to ship out?
  
  From Globe Span’s receipt of its Pro-forma invoice duly signed by the buyer, it will take 3 to 4 weeks before actual ship out of the goods. The reason for this is that we request manufacturers to produce fresh stocks in order to maximize the shelf life of the product.
  
  
• What are the payment terms and conditions required by Globe Span International, Inc.?
  
  Preferred payment term is either by telegraphic transfer (T/T), 100% of the invoice value, within 1 week from our receipt of the pro-forma invoice signed by the buyer. Confirmed and irrevocable Letter of Credit (L/C) at sight is also another option. Globe Span must receive the L/C details also within 1 week from our receipt of the pro-forma invoice signed by the buyer. A combination of T/T and L/C at sight is also acceptable depending on the arrangements between Globe Span and the buyer.
  
  
• Is a buyer required to buy or order a Full Container Load (FCL) of each product?
  
  Globe Span can consolidate your orders, i.e., an assortment of products to fill up one (1) Full Container Load (FCL). We discourage buyers from buying less than 1 FCL of goods as freight cost of Loose Cargo Load (LCL) is very expensive.
  
  
• Is Globe Span limited to selling the products featured on this website?
  
  No. Globe Span is open to all product inquiries, even those not featured in this Web site. The products/companies featured on this website are our flagship products. We can act as a sourcing agent of foreign buyers looking for Philippine-made products, whether food or non-food.
  
  
• Can Globe Span provide the necessary Philippine government documents needed by an importer for its customs and government clearance?
  
  Globe Span can provide all the necessary documents needed by a buyer in order to clear its shipment from customs or other government agencies. We can immediately provide the manufacturers’ Certificates of Analysis, Philippine BFAD Certifications, and other documents required by the buyers.
