The first Barrio Fiesta restaurant was established in 1958. Now with branches all over the Philippines and in the United States, Barrio Fiesta has a following that spans several generations of food lovers.

In order to bring to even more tables the high quality food served at its restaurants, Barrio Fiesta Manufacturing Corporation (BFMC) was established in 1987.

The first product of BFMC was the bottled bagoong (sautéed shrimp paste). The product was well received not only in the Philippines, but also in other countries such as United States of America, Hong Kong, Korea, Canada and Japan. The bagoong is now available in three variants: Regular, Sweet and Spicy.

In 1997, Barrio Fiesta introduced the ready-to-eat canned meals to the Philippine market. These products are the popular dishes among Filipinos, which are prepared in the traditional home-cooked way but presented in the convenient canned form to the consumers. In keeping with its commitment to home-style cooking, these bottled and canned products have no preservatives.

More recently, Barrio Fiesta launched new products lines including: Fruit Juices, Preserved Fruits/Preserves, Peanut Butter, and All Purpose Sauce.

Through all the changes experienced in 50 years of operations, the Barrio Fiesta restaurants have remained single-mindedly focused only on the needs of its customers. In the same way, Barrio Fiesta Manufacturing Corporation will remain committed to its purpose of bringing only the best to the tables of discriminate food lovers all over the world.
